EMPYREAN ART DECO

Empyrean ArtDeco is a hotel boutique located in the colonial zone of Santo Domingo, characterized by art, comfort, and exclusivity.

Our boutique hotel and restaurant offer a captivating tribute to history, seamlessly blending two distinct architectural styles: the Art Deco elegance of the 1920s and the enduring beauty of Spanish colonial design dating back to the 1560s. Lying comfortably within a meticulously renovated structure, our masterpiece spans two stories, providing a total of 16 uniquely designed rooms that harmoniously fuse modern comfort with historical charm

Excursion & Transport

ACTIVITIES

Colonial Zone Walking tour

Our excursion to Santo Domingo, accompanied by a professional multilingual guide, will take us through impressive landmarks such as the Cathedral of Santo Domingo, the first cathedral founded in the Americas, and the Alcázar de Colón, located in the beautiful Plaza de España. Built by Bartolomé Colón, the Alcázar has been converted into a museum, preserving the look and original relics of that era.

We will stroll down La Calle de las Damas, the most romantic street in the city, and visit the Amber Museum, which showcases amber—a yellowish-brown gemstone formed from tree resin, often containing fossils of extinct insects and small plants. Amber is the national gemstone of the Dominican Republic.

There will be free time for shopping in various gift shops, where you can buy the famous Limé dolls, Dominican crafts, paintings, as well as tobacco, rum, and Dominican coffee. This full-day excursion also includes a delicious lunch at a well-known Dominican restaurant, where you can enjoy traditional dishes.
